Rowley Police Honor Citizens, Police and Dispatchers Who Assisted In Finding Missing Toddler

ROWLEY – Interim Chief James Mulligan is pleased to announce that the Rowley Police Department recognized the two civilians, two police officers and dispatcher who were involved in locating a missing toddler back in November.

Hours after 2-year-old Lyndon Albers had been reported missing, an Ipswich couple, Thomas and Marguerite Crosby, located the girl on Newbury Road in Rowley while on their way to work. They immediately contacted police. Dispatcher Jeanne McClung received the call and relayed the message to Detective Matthew Ziev and Officer John Raffi, who responded to the scene. An investigation later revealed that Lyndon was abducted from her home by her babysitter.

The five individuals were honored for their efforts and quick actions with letters of recognition during a Board of Selectmen meeting on Monday at 7 p.m.
