UPDATE: (4:10 p.m.) Watertown Police have informed MSONEWSPORTS there is now a $25,000 reward being offered for information to assist in the search for Nolan Gargas. Radio Interview Below Police are looking for information on why Gargas may have gone to Nahant over the weekend.

NAHANT – A missing persons search continues in Nahant for a 26 year old Watertown man (Nolan Gargas) that began on Sunday. Nahant Police Chief Robert Dwyer told MSONEWSPORTS today that the Nahant Police still consider this an active search. Dwyer was out personally today searching a part of the coastline in Nahant. Gargas was believed to have been at Nahant’s East Point area over the weekend. The Nahant Police Chief tells us that Watertown Police took the missing person report for Gargas, a 26 year old male, 6’2″ and weighing150 pounds. His mother’s car was found at the East Point parking lot over the weekend. Nahant police have put up posters around town while search efforts over the weekend included efforts from land, sea, and air. Additional police departments and out of town resources aided in the search. Watertown Police are handling any portion of the investigation that involves interviews with family and friends as to possible motivation for his coming to Nahant. Nahant Chief noted that Gargas was not seen in Nahant although his mother’s car was found at East Point. Dwyer has his officers still doing park and walk searches in town and fisherman are also on the lookout for the missing man. Poster below.

Nolan was reported missing by his family on 5/21 and his gray 2006 Toyota sedan was located in the East Point area of  Nahant, Massachusetts.
