Salem News Reporting Double Homicide Investigation in Peabody – UPDATE – Victims Identified – Search for Two Suspects

PEABODY MURDER VICTIMS IDENTIFIED; TWO SUSPECTS SOUGHT

The victims in the Peabody double murder have been identified as Mark Greenlaw, 37, and Jennifer O’Connor, 39, both thought to be living at 19 Farm Avenue in Peabody.  Investigators learned that they were in a dating relationship.

The Essex State Police Detective Unit with assistance from the Massachusetts State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section are seeking two suspects in connection with the murders.  No further information about the suspects will be released at this time.

2:30 p.m. update: Police and the district attorney’s office are investigating a double homicide at a house on Farm Avenue in Peabody, according to a spokeswoman for the district attorney’s office.

The victims, a man and a woman, are both adults, Carrie Kimball-Monahan, spokeswoman for the district attorney’s office, said. Police are not releasing their names until their next of kin has been notified.

A cause and manner of death has not yet been determined, Kimball-Monahan said. She also could not confirm the victims’ ages nor the condition of the bodies found.
