PEABODY (Radio Broadcast – Video Interviews) Peabody senior running back Doug Santos rushed for just over 350 yards Friday night in the Tanners 34-19 win over Malden. Santos scored three touchdowns in the MIAA Division 1 playoff opener for the tanners. Santos scored on runs of 54, 72, and 55 yards. (interview with Santos -Below) He scored the first three touchdowns in the game. Ugonna Okanawa and Eric DeMayo scored the other two Peabody touchdowns.
Malden was led by the throwing of quarterback Jared Martino. He had two touchdown passes to Robert Collins for 43 and 59 yards.
