Girls Carlin Cup – The Peabody girls hockey team got three goals today from Sammie Mirasolo, now 27 goals on the season in a 4-0 win over Bishop Fenwick capturing the Carlin Cup. Cassandra Mirasolo had three assists and Kaydee Purcell had two assists. Kathryn DiGiulio scored the team’s 4th goal. Peabody goaltender Abigal Buckley got the shutout in nets and was named the Most Valuable Player. Peabody has qualified for the MIAA tournament, now 11-6-2, and will host Melrose Wednesday afternoon at 2 p.m. Girls interviews including Peabody coach Michelle Roach and photos are posted below.

Boys Carlin Cup – Bishop Fenwick 7 Peabody 1 – Ian Worthly with two goals and three assists today. Fenwick is now 6-10-3 and they close out the regular season Friday night at Stoneham.
