NORTH SHORE – With rain in the forecast for Memorial Day several area towns have adjusted their outdoor activities. Please email us with any updates at: msonewsports@gmail.com


Manchester-by-the-Sea – Memorial Day ceremonies will be held inside at The American Legion Post 113 due to rain in the forecast. Parade is canceled.

Gloucester – From Gloucester Mayor Sefatia Romeo Theken:

Due to projected weather forecasts of inclement weather, Gloucester’s Memorial Day services and ceremonies will now be in held in the Gloucester High School Auditorium beginning at 9 a.m.
Thank you in advance for helping to spread the word and remember to join us tomorrow, May 30th at Gloucester High School to honor all American service men and women. God Bless our Veterans, Soldiers and Heroes

Marblehead – Memorial Day Observances

Please be advised that based on the weather forecast, it has been determined that in the event of heavy rain, the regular processions will not take place.

Instead, a service will be held inside Abbot Hall at 10am and all are invited to attend.

This means no services at Memorial Park or Waterside Cemetery in the event of rain.


Ipswich – Due to the weather forecast tomorrow all Memorial Day Services will be held inside at the YMCA gym starting at 10 am
