BEVERLY  – The Endicott men’s cross country team begins its 2017 season this Saturday at Gordon College. Here’s a preview of the upcoming season for the Gulls.

RETURNING CAST (ROSTER): Endicott brings back four key members from its top-5 that helped the Gulls tie their best finish at the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Championships last season including Zach Marshall (Hinesburg, Vt.), Patrick Finocchiaro (Salem, N.H.), Will Connelly (Barrington, R.I.), and Adam Germaine (Guilford, Conn.).
MARK YOUR CALENDAR (SCHEDULE): After their dual meet at Gordon, the Gulls head to the University of New England (UNE) Invitational on Saturday, September 9. Endicott’s second meet of the season will also serve as a preview of the CCC Championships, which are scheduled for Saturday, October 28 in Biddeford, Maine. Meanwhile, the NCAA Division III New England Regionals will take place on Saturday, November 11 in Gorham, Maine at the Gorham Country Club.
2016 YEAR IN REVIEW: Endicott tied its best finish in program history at the 2016 CCC Championships with a second place showing behind a score of 69 points. The Gulls only conference championship in program history came in 1998 when Endicott was a member of the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC).

BEVERLY – The Endicott women’s cross country team begins its 2017 season this Saturday at Gordon College. Here’s a preview of the upcoming season for the Gulls.

RETURNING CAST (ROSTER): Endicott welcomes back Abigail Keim (Williston, Vt.), Laura Pomeroy (Windham, N.H.), and Lauren Tocci (Shamong, N.J.) as key contributors from last year’s roster. The Gulls also have added junior NCAA Division I transfer Jules Wesley (Beverly, Mass.) to the fold this fall. Wesley will look to make an immediate impact in the squad’s top-5.
2016 YEAR IN REVIEW: Endicott finished fourth overall at the 2016 CCC Championships with 105 points.

BEVERLY – The Endicott field hockey team is back and ready for another shot at the program’s third Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) title this fall. Last season, the Gulls suffered a narrow defeat in the CCC semifinal round and will look to bounce back in their 2017 season debut on Saturday, Sept. 2 at 4 p.m. against Wheaton (Mass.) in Hempstead Stadium.

RETURNING CAST: Head coach Jodi Cipolla returns several key student-athletes from last years roster including three All-CCC First Team selections in junior Sophia Cogliano (Saugus, Mass.) and seniors Emylee Wood (Kensington, N.H.) and Samantha Crowley (Leicester, Mass.). Cogliano led the team in scoring last season, notching 10 goals and 10 assists for 20 points. Wood returns to anchor the back line, but is also effective on the offensive end as she tallied nine goals and two assists in 2016. Meanwhile, in the midfield, Crowley will aim to build upon last season’s performance of three goals and nine assists.
MARK YOUR CALENDAR: Endicott starts the season at home on September 2 with a 4 p.m. contest against Wheaton (Mass.). The Gulls then have three non-conference matchups versus Salem St. (September 4), Rensselaer (September 9) and MIT (September 12) before opening CCC play at Nichols on Saturday, Sept. 16 at 11 a.m. The Gulls close out the regular season at Roger Williams on Friday, October 27 at 4:30 p.m.
