BEVERLY – The Endicott men’s soccer team will make its first-ever appearance in the NCAA Division III men’s soccer tournament this weekend after winning the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) title on Saturday, Nov. 4.
The Gulls (13-4-3) will face off against Springfield (14-1-2) in the first round of the tournament, which will be held November 10-12 at Amherst.
Endicott defeated Gordon on Saturday, Nov. 4 to win the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) championship title and the NCAA automatic bid. Dario Neukom scored the game-winner with 15 seconds remaining in the first overtime period to give the Gulls a 1-0 victory over Gordon.
Springfield received an at-large bid into the tournament after a loss in penalty shots to WPI in the New England Women’s & Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) championship game on Sunday, Nov. 5.
