Meet the National Association of Women Artists Massachusetts President and Scholarship Chair

NORTH SHORE –  “The purpose of the National Association of Women Artists is to foster public awareness of, and interest in, visual art created by women in the United States and internationally.”

Jennifer Costello is the President of the Massachusetts chapter of NAWA (NAWAMA) and Rosalie Cuticchia is the Scholarship Chair.  Recently, NAWAMA awarded scholarships to three young North Shore women:  Carmela Murphy, Newburyport High School; Hallie Gagnon (Saugus), Essex Tech; and Wrileidy Lopez (Lawrence), UMass Lowell.

In the interview below, Jennifer and Rosalie detail some of the ways NAWA promotes the work and ambitions of women artists.
