MELROSE – The Melrose Red Raiders (10-0) advanced in the D4 Football playoffs with a 28-20 win over the Marblehead Magicians (9-1). Melrose running back Isaac Seide (30 carries, 238 yards rushing) scored three touchdowns for the winners. The Red Raiders outgained the Magicians, 283 yards to 212.
Marblehead had playoff wins over Wakefield (28-24), Wilmington (24-17). For Melrose, their two previous playoff wins were against Dracut (14-10) and North Reading (28-27).
