CHELMSFORD – Tonight, in the MIAA D2 opener between the Marblehead Headers(13-6-4) and the North Andover Scarlet Knights (12-7-3), the high scoring senior line of Brendan Haley, Drew Cioffi, and James MCarthy combined for all 6 goals to go along with 3 assists to lead the Headers to the 6-2 win. Cioffi picked up a hat trick as both he and Haley tallied short-handed goals. There was a total of 15 penalties called in the game with each team having a 5 on 3 advantage for almost a minute and a half. Both of North Andover’s goals were power play efforts, one from Patrick Moran, and the other from Zach Keating.
