Lynn English Boys Basketball Beats Beverly 73-54, Alonzo Linton Lead Bulldogs With 22 Points

LYNN – Lynn English went on a 34-7 first half run against Beverly after falling behind 15-5, to win Friday night 73-54. Lynn English improves to 7-1 and will play at Malden Catholic Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. The Bulldogs were led by a 22 point performance from point guard Alonzo Linton, 20 of those points came in the first half. Javonte Edwards had 13 points and Javaris Hill added 12 points. Beverly was led by a 15 point performance by Luigi Derrane and 12 points from Duncan Moreland. Beverly’s next game will be Friday night at Malden High School.
