Gloucester Mayor Makes it Personal: We Can Do Better as Health Care Providers and Advocates

GLOUCESTER – (Radio)  With Gloucester Mayor Sefatia Romeo-Theken planning to attend the Opioid Vigil on Monday night in Gloucester, the Gloucester Angel Program and the topic of depression are fresh on the Mayor’s mind.   Last Saturday, the Mayor attended the Gloucester Fishermen’s Memorial Service before rushing off to tend to a relative at Massachuestts General Hospital in Boston.

In a radio interview below, Mayor Romeo-Theken reflects on her life as the wife of a Gloucester fisherman and her life as an advocate for those who do not receive proper and necessary healthcare.
