GLOUCESTER – Gloucester Mayor Sefatia Romeo-Theken has a brand-new bonnet worthy of the Kentucky Derby set that she will be displaying in a week or so when the rejuvenated Boulevard re-opens. But, when it comes to affordable housing for Gloucester residents, she gets rather animated. In the audio interview below, the Mayor talks about the upcoming grand re-opening of the Boulevard, but, then she details the challenges faced by the upcoming Fuller School property district overlay hearing that will take place tonight at 7 p.m. in Gloucester City Hall. Mayor Romeo-Theken explains the difference between the potential buyers building affordable housing versus their paying $1.5 million that would be deposited into the city’s Affordable Housing Trust.
