LYNN – (Video) Lynn English captured a 34-15 MIAA D3 North playoff game at Manning Field against Billerica High School. The Bulldogs improve to 9-0 while the Indians fall to 5-4 on the season. English quarterback Matt Severance scored the games first two touchdowns on runs of 10 & 3 yards. He would throw scoring passes to Tyshaun Anderson of 99 yards and 49 yards. (26-0). Billerica’s Pat Quinn scored on a 1 yard run in the third quarter cutting the Bulldog lead to 26-7. Ishmile Bangura ran in from nine yards out in the 4th quarter giving English a 34-7 lead The game’s last touchdown was a two yard pass from Billerica’s Tom Landry to Morgan Mulkerin.
Lynn English will play the winner of Saturday’s Danvers at Tewksbury game, live Saturday at 2 on MSO
