4-2, on Friday night in a league matchup at Max Ulin Rink.
Endicott received two goals from Daniel Kucerovy (Bethel Park, Pa.) and solo tallies via Josh Bowes (Edmonton, Alberta, Canada) and Cam Bleck (Lake Forest, Ill.) to extend its winning streak to five straight games. The Gulls jumped out to a 2-0 lead behind Kucerovy (5:20) and Bowes (13:50) in the first period before Kucerovy (17:23) and Bleck (2:09) found the back of the net in the second and third periods, respectively, to squash any chance of a comeback bid from the Colonels.
Meanwhile, in goal, Mark Specia (Ringwood, N.J.) stopped 16 shots to bump his record to 3-1-0 on the season.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
Endicott is 4-1-0 against Curry in the all-time series.
The Gulls have won the last four meetings behind a combined 27-9 score.
John Carricato (Ridge, N.Y.), Bowes, and Jake Simons (Coral Springs, Fla.) tied for the team-high in faceoff wins with eight apiece.
Simons and Bump Lisk (Lawrenceville, N.J.) both had two assists each, while Bowes, Jason Kalinowski (Stamford, Conn.), and Anthony Petrella (Hilton, N.Y.) all dished out helpers too.
FOR THE FOES
Mack Heisinger (Winnipeg, Manitoba) cut into the deficit at 2-1 just 33-seconds into the second period with his second goal of the season.
Jarret Kup (Rosseau, Ontario) made it 4-2 with his second tally of the year at 17:49 of the third.
Frank Cundiff (Oceanside, N.Y.) had 31 saves in the loss (2-3-1).

No. 11/12 Endicott (5-1-0, 5-0-0 CCC) hosts Curry (3-3-1, 2-2-1) tomorrow at Raymond J. Bourque Arena at 4 PM.


BEVERLY – The No. 10 Endicott women’s ice hockey team defeated Nichols, 5-1, on Friday night at Raymond J. Bourque Arena.
Leading the offensive charge for the Gulls was Lexi Klein (Shoreview, Minn.), who registered a hat-trick. Klein tallied a goal in each period of the game.
Also scoring for Endicott were Jade Meier (Fairbanks, Alaska) and Caroline Hughes (Andover, Mass.).
Kelly Ferreira (North Falmouth, Mass.) netted the lone goal for Nichols to snap the shutout opportunity.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
Alyssa Peterson (Cranberry Township, Pa.) improved to 2-0-0 on the season and recorded 12 saves.
Endicott is now 3-1 in the all-time series against Nichols.
Junior defensemen Ellen Carter (Roseville, Minn.) recorded her third multi-point game of the season by dishing out assists on Hughes’ (5:48, 2nd period) and one of Klein’s (7:58, 1st period) goals.
Also earning assists on the night were Michaela McNamara (Warwick, R.I.), Jillian Gibbs (Burlington, Vt.), Alexa Pretkelis (Crystal Lake, Ill.), Lauren Ferraiuolo (North Haven, Conn.), Maggie Layo (Sandwich, Mass.) and Hughes.
Layo won a team-high 11 faceoffs.
Endicott held the 42-13 shot advantage.
FOR JOHNSON & WALES
Cassandra Goyette (Norton, Mass.) made 37 saves in the loss (2-3-0).
Mel McAleer (Hanson, Mass.) led the team in shots with four.

Women’s Basketball

BRIDGEWATER, Mass. — The Endicott women’s basketball team opened the 2017-18 season with a 52-50 loss to Bridgewater State at the Cave Classic on Friday evening at the Adrian Tinsley Center.
The Gulls took a 15-10 lead through the first quarter but the Bears came out strong in the second quarter to take a close 25-22 lead heading into halftime.
Both teams continued to go back and forth for the remainder of the game, but Bridgewater State was able to come away with the slight 52-50 victory.
Leading the Gulls in points was Hannah Kiernan (Wenham, Mass.) with 20, while Catie Lipscomb (West Springfield, Mass.) netted seven points. Kiernan also led the team in rebounds with eight. Emily Pratt (Gardner, Mass.) was close behind with six boards.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
Gabriella Coppola (Watertown, Mass.), Sam Charette (Wenham, Mass.), Hannah Shaw (Bar Harbor, Maine), Mikaela Rogers (Haverhill, Mass.), Kaleigh Putnam (Wallingford, Conn.), and Pratt also added points for the Gulls.
Four student-athletes led the team in assists, with three each.
Emma Tierney (Wolfeboro, N.H.) registered one block during the contest.
Pratt and Charette each had two steals on the night.
FOR THE FOES
Destiny Fitzgerald (Medford, Mass.) led the offense with 13 points, while Sara DaSilva (Chelmsford, Mass.) and Chanelle Melton (Brockton, Mass.) were close behind with 11 and 10 points, respectively.
Fitzgerald also led the team in rebounds with seven.
Rhiana Page (Brookline, Mass.) dished out a team-high three assists.
Page and Elise McGovern (Raynham, Mass.) each recorded a block during the contest.
WHAT’S NEXT
Endicott (0-1, 0-0 CCC) concludes play at The Cave Classic tomorrow, Nov. 18 at 1 p.m versus Norwich.
Bridgewater State (1-0, 0-0 MASCAC) also plays tomorrow, Nov. 18 in The Cave Classic against Colby-Sawyer at 3 p.m.
