MARBLEHEAD – (Video & Photos) The Beverly High School baseball team defeated Marblehead High School 8-0 Wednesday afternoon at Seaside Park. Beverly was led on the mound and at the plate by Matt Enos. The Panther right hander struck out 8 Magicians earning his 3rd win of the season. (3-1) At the plate Enos had three hits including a big two run double in the third inning giving the Panthers a 5-0 lead. Beverly scored 2 runs in the first inning, 3 runs in the third inning, two in the fourth inning, and a single run in the seventh inning. Beverly is now 14-4, Marblehead falls to 10-8. Beverly’s Jack Ploszay, Nick Berry, and John Goodwin each had two hits in the game.
